Monica worked at WCRS (now Engine Group) for 3 years before joining PHD Media in 2000, progressing to PHD Group CFO by 2004. She left in April 2010 to work for Crayon Group and perform consultancy work within the advertising industry.

Monica, who is ACA qualified, joined the senior management team in March 2011 as Non-Executive Director in order to help shape Cream's strategy and vision.
